Review of the Hunter 40 by Steve Joyce

If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes, Yes!  
Gear that's been added Lots, radar, GPS, windless, heater, prop etc.  
Structural or complex improvements No.  
The boat's best features Two heads, aft cabin.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Traveler is located in poor position, cockpit is too small, prop is inadaquate.  
Sailing characterisitcs Good pointing, handles well in strong (40 ) winds, stable.  
Motoring characterisitcs No problems after replacing factory prop.  
Liveability Super!
