Review of the Hunter 33.5 by Andrew

Year built 1991
Location of boat Belleville, Ontario
The boat is sailed on Lakes
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 16-22 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard? No
Owner bought the boat in 2010
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? I would buy this boat again! I am extreamly pleased with it.
Gear that's been added I have actually removed gear. The previous owner had everything. I have removed the radar arch and radar system as I do not require it and it is an awful waste of space.
Structural or complex improvements
The boat's best features Space and ease of sailing
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The radar arch was always in the way. I have had it removed.
Sailing characterisitcs It sails great in all types of wind! Have never been scared in any conditions.
Motoring characterisitcs I have a 2 blade folding prop with the yanmar 25 horse 3 cylender engine and it works well. I can motor at 2000 rpms at 5.5 knots and its smooth. 2200 rpms at 6 knots.
Liveability I lived on the boat last summer and was very comfortable.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Very nice people.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any No comment
Other comments Other than its awesome! No.
