Structural or complex improvements No
The boat's best features We love the way the boat sails. It's very easy to single hand. Like having the jib winches near the helm. Interior volume is terrific for two adults.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Cockpit is small. V-berth is short for adults. Cast iron keel always needs attention. Should have been lead. Aluminum holding tank is another poor choice of materials. Should have been plastic. At least it is a simple replacement when necessary. No bulk heads to cut open or anything like that. Wish I could figure out an easy way to mount a windless
Sailing characterisitcs It tends to be a little tender if you don't put the first reef in at 18-20 knots. Love the responsivness of the helm.
Motoring characterisitcs The previous owner added a feathering prop making the prop walk minimal. The boat backs very well. The 27 hp. Yanmar is plenty of power for this size boat.
Liveability I would hate to spend more than a weekend with two couples aboard however a small family will find it comfortable.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Haven't dealt much with them.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Bought from a private owner.
