Made the binocular box out of teak and waterproof glue. The small black knob is for the spare hand held GPS mount. The teak bracket between the pedestal guard pipes making it very easy to install and remove with each cruise. White plastic fold down drink holders came from West Marine. The small bronze bracket in the front of the box is for the ships bell mounted during those fogged in days. I keep the bell below decks until needed.

Normally I store the box below decks when not cruising. Ours rests on the instrument box, absent one I suppose you could use either a plastic pipe clamp or a set screw for the bracket to rest on.
