The Rudder Downhaul on the Hunter 260 really sucks and the factory is unwilling to change the design. It has been a problem since day 1.

I solved the problem by adding a small boat trailer winch. Now anyone can easily pull the rudder into the down position with only a socket wrench and the winch holds the rudder securely in the down position.
