Review of the Hunter Vision-32 by Tom

Year built 1990
Location of boat Naples, FL
The boat is sailed on Open ocean
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 16-22 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in Spur
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Where else can you obtain a 36 ft in a 32 ft Vision????
Gear that's been added Roller Furling, Alpine kick your ass stereo, TV/VCR combo, and about every little gadget possible from West Marine!!!
Structural or complex improvements So far nothing necessary.
The boat's best features The 32 Vision is a Great weekend sailer / party boat cruiser. Sleeps 4 with no problems. It is a real smoth ride in heavey winds (20 winds). Love cooking breakfist as my girl friend roars down the coast.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Hate that smell when I first open up the boat. I'm going to find that source and poor bleach all over it, or fill it sky high full of caulk. LOVE MY VISION, NO PROBLEMS!!!!
Sailing characterisitcs My guests love washing the rails. I was really suprised when given the choice of running or sailing into the wind, they almost always want to go back and wash those rails. I personally enjoy 10-15 knots with the wind at my back.
Motoring characterisitcs Get a little momemtum, and she handels fantastic.
Liveability Not enough closet space to live on full time. And besides, what would I do with my cat???
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) They are the best, return every, and I mean every phone call I ever make. they get the gear or they get me to the people that can get me the gear. Do you think West Marine
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Jeff Spurgeon of Spurgeon's Port -a- Call at Stockton Lake, MO has been wonderful. He helped me get it, get it in, and get it on!!!
