Year built 1983
Location of boat Nova Scotia
The boat is sailed on Open ocean
How the boat is used Racing
Normal wind strength 16-22 knots
Average size of crew 6
Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 1992
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes, I would most certainly buy this boat in a heart beat with no ?s asked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gear that's been added Added Raychart 630, Raytheon Pathfinder radar, Raytheon Autohelm and autopilot keypad, Raytheon Analog Multitrim, Raystar reciever 114 and a navagational raychart 520 for backup if anything happened to my beloved 630 (The best Raychart Yet)
Structural or complex improvements Added a Biminey
The boat's best features They Are Fast, Reliable, Sturdy And MOST Dealers are friendly!
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The previouse owner of the boat said that the gas line had been pinched repiededly, however it never has happened 2 me!
Sailing characterisitcs I have sailed 2 trans atlantics (only 1 in the H54) and only 1 trans pacific (not in my H54). Dropped out of school at age 18 Sailed to bremuta spent sumers as sailing instructure in Calafornia. My Father had a Hienkly 37 wich I used to spend some weeks on it during some summers.
Motoring characterisitcs When I was 16 I bought an old beat up Boston Whaler 18 and restored it.
Liveability I have a lot of gear on my boat and everything is really packed especially in the off season.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Sorry I haven't
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any I have spoke with many dealers and most are very nice
