Structural or complex improvements Not yet.
The boat's best features Handles well in heavy weather. I've sailed her in 30 winds reefed and she does quite well. Well thought out design below makes her very comfortable.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. I'd like to see additional block for handling both traveler and jib leads. Had some initial difficulties with raising main, but now I can jump her almost all the way (takes about a minute). Dutchman system doesn't work as well as I hoper with large main, but as the sail gets trained its getting much better.
Sailing characterisitcs She is very responsive. I start to experience weatherhelm at 15 nauts and will go to 1st reef at just over 20 nauts. Hull speed is rated just over 7.6 nauts, I've clocked her at well over 8, with consistent speed of 6-7 nauts. She handles great in close quarters under motor.
Motoring characterisitcs AT 2400 RPM she runs at about 5 nauts. Little nosier than I'd like, but not a problem.
Liveability Lots of room below and creature comforts below. I've been on boats much larger 40 that don't have the living area that the 376 has.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Mixed. Sales staff has been outstanding. Commissioning of the boat was very good. But, getting items fixed by service dept. has been slow.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
