Owner bought the boat in 1994
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes, it has been a great boat for us.
Gear that's been added Larger holding tankChartplotter GPSInverter
Structural or complex improvements
The boat's best features Good handling, roominess and inside comfort
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Crazing of gel coat on deckProblems removing sea roof for maintenanceTraveller a little too smal for this size boat
Sailing characterisitcs Excellent reaching, not too good at pointing close to the wind, surprisingly fast for an older model that one would class as a cruiser first
Motoring characterisitcs Resonant vibration over 2500 rpm makes motoring over 5.2 knots somewhat uncomfortable
Liveability Excellent. Wish we had a little more headroom in the aft cabin, though.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Responsive
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
