Location of boat Little Current North Channel
The boat is sailed on The Great Lakes
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 1996
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? I believe soThe boat is solidThe price is right
Gear that's been added No
Structural or complex improvements None needed
The boat's best features It is one of the best balanced boats I have sailed
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The motor
Sailing characterisitcs Last year we had a steady 15 knot wind from the beam, and we sat in the cockpit and ate chips and salsa and I only touched the wheel twice in an hour
Motoring characterisitcs Most waves in our area ar short and steep. We find that this tends to stop the boat dead. It needs more power or a 3 blade prop
Liveability We cruised around Georgean Bay last year. Took us three weeks. We enjoyed every minute of the trip. We could easily live aboard all summer.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
