Structural or complex improvements NO, No Need!!!!
The boat's best features Interior and Cockpit size.Ease of sailing.Even goes well under Power!!!!
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Nothing beyond the normal Boating repairs/checks..
Sailing characterisitcs At first the large Main was difficult.. But, as we learned to reef earlier than in the past it is very pleasant..Boat is very stable even on passages thru open water to Maine...Very pleasant to have Jib and not Genoa...
Motoring characterisitcs Very good... I did put on a Folding prop which seems to give it more power especially in reverse!!Tracks well and can be stopped quickly in an emergency...Maneuvers well..
Liveability We have spent two weeks aboard and were still talking at the end...Enough room to stay out of each others way!!
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Very responsive and helpful...
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Sailing Specialties is the best Dealer we have ever gealt with (This is our 5 or 6 Boat)... Came thru with ever agreement and they still are helpful...
