Review of the Hunter 22 by Jim Deuel

Year built 1983  
Location of boat bottom of Santa Rosa Sound, Navarre Fl  
The boat is sailed on Bays, sounds, or protected salt water  
How the boat is used Day sailing  
Normal wind strength less than 10 knots  
Average size of crew 5-6  
Liveaboard?  
Owner bought the boat in 1999  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? not sure right now, probably yes  
Gear that's been added Yes but its all lost now  
Structural or complex improvements I wish I had changed the keel line to steel cableI need comments on this if the boat is salvageable  
The boat's best features Great in light wind and thin water  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. right now the boat is sitting on the bottomat the dock During a storm the line forthe keel broak and the keel fell eithercracking or puncturing the bottom. I haventbeen able to raise her yet to tell.
