Review of the Hunter 212 by josh mcdaniel

Year built 2000
Location of boat connecticut (so I'm told)
The boat is sailed on Open ocean
How the boat is used Day sailing
Normal wind strength less than 10 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 1999
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? I don't know yet, because I have not gotten it yet. I ordered it back in January 1999 with an initial delivery date of mid March. I am told often that I am going to love it.
Gear that's been added
Structural or complex improvements
The boat's best features
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.
Sailing characterisitcs
Motoring characterisitcs
Liveability
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Hunter marketed this boat way to early with many promises of various due dates. I am starting to feel like that sucker that is born every minute. I had heard a lot of nice things about Hunter prior to choosing to buy from them. I am now wondering if I made the right choice, or if I will ever buy another (bigger) boat from them.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any American Sailing Academy in San Diego has been very helpful and tries to keep me updated. I think, however, that Hunter is giving them the same run around.
