Structural or complex improvements none
The boat's best features Spacious InteriorGreat sailing characteristicsSpacious Cockpit with archSteering
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Original reefing lines were to short.Shift/throttle linkage came apart, would only go in reverse or neutral. This happen as we were backing out of the slip and was a real experience.
Sailing characterisitcs Vert stable. The boat is quipped with a deep fin keel and an enormous rudder. It Points good and has good speed upwind. Needs spinnaker downwind.
Motoring characterisitcs Responds very good from forward to reverse and vice versa. With deep keel and rudder it will turn on a dime.
Liveability Absolutely perfect for three people and a Golden Retriever.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) I am glad to be away from Beneteau and back with Hunter. I have had one factory tour and my wife has had two. They made us feel right at home.We were honored by a visit from Gene Lang (Hunter Marine) and an afternoon sail with he and his wife.Hunter makes there customer's feel like part of the family.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any The boat was bought from Rooke Sails in Memphis, TN (rookesails.com). Only minor problems and they all have been taken care of quickly.
