Review of the Hunter 33.5 by Patrick

Year built 1993
Location of boat Tampa Bay
The boat is sailed on Bays, sounds, or protected salt water
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard? No
Owner bought the boat in 2000
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Absolutely would buy it again.
Gear that's been added Bought a Fire Engine Red "A" sail and love it. Also have a whisker pole for sailing downwind, wing on wing.
Structural or complex improvements
The boat's best features The Yanmar 3GM30 is wonderful, has never acted up and always brought me home from places like the Northern Abacos, Bimini and the Keys.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.
Sailing characterisitcs Handles well, can be safely singlehanded since all sheets and the main halyard come back to the cockpit.
Motoring characterisitcs Again, love the Yanmar engine.
Liveability
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Easy to deal with.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
