The boat's best features Convenience and simplicity of the systems; great layout; modern feel; appears to be well constructed. Very roomy compared to other 36s I looked at.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. None so far.
Sailing characterisitcs I loved how this boat sails from the minute I unfurled the sails and put my hands on the helm. It is very well balanced, sturdy and easy to sail. The first time I sailed my H36, I was single handing in winds of about 15 knots with gusts of about 20 knots and had had no prior experience with sailboat larger than 26. I was very impressed as the boat was very balanced and basically sailed itself. I remained in control with winds of about 15 knots gusting at 20 knots. It was such a nice feeling!
Motoring characterisitcs Motors very well with minimum prop walk (I have the variprop. Appears to have adequate power for the great lakes
Liveability Excellent for a 36- very large cockpit for entertaining
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) NA
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
Other comments My next boat will be a Hunter :)
