The boat's best features Easy to solo. Feels stable and safe. Plenty of room, very comfortable.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. I have had no problems.
Sailing characterisitcs Sails very well. Easy to adjust sails to wind conditions. Seems to pick up light winds real good.
Motoring characterisitcs Yanmar cruises around 5 knots. Fuel usage is about 1 gallon every 2.5 hours.
Liveability Very roomy with lots of storage space. She will sleep five if needed. Cruise Air in V berth hatch cools below decks in 90 degree temp.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) They have been very helpful when I needed owners manuals and retro fitting newer parts.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any The broker in St Petersburg, Fla. was very helpful and made the buying experience very positive.
Other comments My experience with the Hunter 30 has been very positive.
