Location of boat Lake Norman, NC
The boat is sailed on Lakes
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 1998
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Definitely.
Gear that's been added Stereo/CD with cabin and arch mounted speakers, air conditioning/heater, curtains, arch lights and bimini.
Structural or complex improvements No
The boat's best features Cabin space and room in the cockpit. Easy to sail.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Our worst problem was the sail cover didn't fit the design. It was corrected by Hunter.
Sailing characterisitcs Easy to sail and is much faster than our previous boat. Backing is tricky, but getting better with experience.
Motoring characterisitcs We are still breaking in the motor, but as we cycle through the various rpm's we are finding the motor and boat to be very responsive.
Liveability Very comfortable.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) They have addressed our concerns. It has been a positive experience.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any The dealer has assigned one person to address each of the faults we find. He has been responsive and continues to come when I find an item to be repaired.
