Review of the Hunter Vision-32 by Barrett Woellhof

Year built 1994
Location of boat Milford Lake in Kansas
The boat is sailed on Lakes
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard? No
Owner bought the boat in 2009
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes would buy again. Love the interior size. Sails easy single handed or with additional hands. Electric winch great for large main.
Gear that's been added Installed LED lighting and a 16,000 btu heat pump for air and heat.
Structural or complex improvements
The boat's best features
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc.
Sailing characterisitcs Sails pretty good in all higher winds without problems. Just need to reef prior and then later for winds above 15-20 mph. It is just like our Hunter 31 we had for reefing. To sail comfortably you just have to use common sense and reef before it is truly necessary.
Motoring characterisitcs
Liveability
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Hunter has trimmed their team in Florida and it is hard to get cutomer service or technical help on items you need advice. Seems like there is only one person that is technical and he is always not available and they do not return calls.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
