Review of the Hunter 31_83-87 by john mc daris

Year built 1984
Location of boat Atlantic city
The boat is sailed on Open ocean
How the boat is used Day sailing
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 98
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? yes, i have been really pleased in performance of the boat
Gear that's been added going to add whisker pole and 155 head sail
Structural or complex improvements no, going to put refrigerator where stove is
The boat's best features it really sails well, and even had hunter haters tell me that it sails well
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. nothing, but basic wear and tear
Sailing characterisitcs i like the way it finds it own groove, then you set the brake and let her go
Motoring characterisitcs so far it has done real well
Liveability its ok for two, but much more it gets crowded sleeping
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Hunter people have always been real nice, even after they found out i bought mine from someone else
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any well taken care
