If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes. My wife and I purchased this boat three weeks ago. We found her on EBay and drove down to Key West, FL to get her. She does need some TLC and it would be very helpful if someone would send us some pics of their boat so that we could have something to go on when we're trying to restore her. Our cabin needs the most attention. TwoNewmans@Comcast.Net
Gear that's been added Right now we are having all the interior wood made from stock. We are also having all the cushions replaced. I am presently trying to figure out how the wiring was originally installed...pics would help...:)
Structural or complex improvements Right now we are searching for a stand so that we can get her off the trailor and make sure that the keel actually lowers. We also have a lot of painting to do...Pics please...:)
The boat's best features It floats, and sails. We put is in the water for the first time last saturday and found out the we bought a boat that not only floats, but it sails as well. The sails look new.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. When we were on the water I noticed that the boat had a small leak coming from the keel hatch. And I don't think the keel swung down. The factory knot meter doesn't work but that's a minor inconvenience.
Sailing characterisitcs We are novice sailors, but the boat seemed to sail fine to us.
Motoring characterisitcs No motor yet.
Liveability NA
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) NA
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any NA
Other comments Any and all pics that anyone has would be highly appreciated since we are trying to restore our boat and we have no documentation to review. Thanks. TwoNewmans@Comcast.Net
