Location of boat New Jersey
The boat is sailed on Lakes
How the boat is used Day sailing

Average size of crew solo
Liveaboard? No
Owner bought the boat in 2006
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes. It's great up to about 15 kts. Abov ethat the boat is almost unmanagable. Srtong weather helm
Gear that's been added
Structural or complex improvements Had a cracking problem at jib cleas and mast. Easily fixed with repair kit.
The boat's best features Great and roomy in light winds. Fun and easy to sail
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Cracking as explained above. Again, heavy wind nearly blows it down. Very dificult to tack into a 20 or so mph wind.
Sailing characterisitcs Great in a light breeze. Severe weather helm in 20+ mph wind. Rudder and centerboard come so far out of the water that have little control in strong wind.
Motoring characterisitcs
Liveability
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) They wer great to help with the crack problem. Kit is easy to do and makes a flawless repair.
