Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 91
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Definitely. It is the perfect size for the inland lake we are confined to. A good size for two people who spend every weekend of the summer aboard.
Gear that's been added ST-50 wind, speed, depth, ST-4000 autopilot. GPS. VHF. CD. TV/VCR. Freshwater level indicators. Fuel gauge. Cell phone. Adler-Barber refrigeration. Cockpit Cushions. Bimini. Dodger. Spinnaker gear. Spinnaker. Whisker/Spinnaker pole. Solar vents main cabin and galley. Furlex roller reefing and 150% genoa.3 Batteries, 40 amp charger. V-berth
Structural or complex improvements Replaced freshwater cover and instaled access hatch for cleaning (it's amazing how dirty it can get in there). Added spinnaker gear and winch. Awnings over salon opening ports.
The boat's best features Good power in the Yanmar...and never any trouble with it. Handles well.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. No problems.
Sailing characterisitcs Nothing unusual or unexpected. This boat handles well under power and sail and is quite predictable.
Motoring characterisitcs Excellent.
Liveability Very comfortable for two. Four can get along well also. Beyond that it gets a bit crowded.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Purchased the boat new and all worked out okay.
