Structural or complex improvements None
The boat's best features Immense interior for a 38, Ease of sail handling, striking appearance
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Rotary Main switches wired wrong. Even when in the off position motor starts and all power goes to panel. Fuel gauge in-op. Several small gel coat voids in cockpit.
Sailing characterisitcs Sails well on all points of sail. Very sweet!
Motoring characterisitcs Average to low prop walk with 3 blade prop. Yanmar shudders briefly when pulled to idle.
Liveability Wonderful! Some insulation above the fuel tank would be appreciated to alleviate annoying slosh under master stateroom mattress at anchor with even minor waves.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Haven't.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Local dealer is ok but i have to tell them about issues many times before finally getting results...and I'm not a "difficult" customer.
