The boat's best features My first sailing boat. Excellent performance. Easy to operate solo. Fast but stable. Operates well in Cape Cod Bay where because of the shelving and wind ---it can get fairly rough. I keep on a dolly on shore where I can usually take to the water by myself but I usually need help pulling back up.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Solid performance. Some self fixed problems due to strong waves on shore----bent rudder bracket and bent motor mount. Also self drainage in back can get blocked by small pebbles etc. Line markings on side can fade due to pressure by the dolly. Centerboard got "stuck" once by pebbles. Had to replace a broken bracket on the bottom of dolly.
Sailing characterisitcs Sails easily in light wind. Have gone fishing with my son on it. Versatile.
Motoring characterisitcs Handles a 3.5 HP motor well.
Liveability Not designed for this.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any My dealership "Cape Water Sports" is excellent with support and service!!!
Other comments I am pleased with performance.
