Review of the Hunter 19_93-96 by rob kelly

Year built 1993
Location of boat st. louis, mo
The boat is sailed on Lakes
How the boat is used Day sailing
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard? No
Owner bought the boat in 2004
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? yes, this was my first sailboat. i love it.
Gear that's been added depth finder, speedometer, windex, cd player, beerholders
Structural or complex improvements none
The boat's best features easy to sail. i figured out how to control the boat the first time out and am getting better every time out.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. those little circle clips are a pain in the rear.
Sailing characterisitcs i have no other experiences on sailboats so i guess it sails pretty well. i have no complaints
Motoring characterisitcs 6 horse suzuki pushes to hull speed and uses very little fuel. don't like smoke and smell of two stroke, but not that big of a deal.
Liveability good for two on a weekend, but would be a little cramped for longer stays.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) none
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any dealer here in st. louis was very nice to deal with unil i went back to get some parts to repair the boat and was treated like i was bothering them. i just search the net when i need parts now. FU st louis sailing!!!!!
