Review of the Hunter 146 by James E. Neal

The boat's best features Non-sinkable and is relatively easy to upright after tipping.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. none  
Sailing characterisitcs I have owned several previous day sailers and have crewed on larger boats. The Hunter 146 is the most unstable boat that I have ever owned. I have flipped it three times in moderate to heavy winds. I would not recommend it particulary if children are to be onboard.

The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Poor.  
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Dealer was good and very helpful  
Other comments I certainly would be interested in any measures that could be taken to increase stability. It is like a cork in moderate to heavy winds.
