Review of the Hunter 19_93-96 by Jeremy

Year built 1993
Location of boat Millerton Lake CA
The boat is sailed on Lakes
How the boat is used Day sailing
Normal wind strength less than 10 knots
Average size of crew solo
Liveaboard? No
Owner bought the boat in 2003
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Of course, I love my boat!
Gear that's been added Depth finder, VHF radio, AM/FM/CD radio, and of course a BBQ
Structural or complex improvements
The boat's best features I just like the general layout, it provides lots of cabin space for a boat this size. The fold-down swim ladder is another big plus.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Nothing so far
Sailing characterisitcs The boat is very agile and easy for me to sail single-handed
Motoring characterisitcs Great, my little 8 horse outboard pushes it along nice and smooth at half throttle and opened all the way up it can get you out of trouble fast. the boat is also capable of very tight turns under power which is a big help in the marina
Liveability For a night or two it's great, the fore hatch provides great ventalation
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Only to order the owners manual, they were helpful and the shipping was fast, but the price seemed a bit steep
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
