The boat is sailed on Bays, sounds, or protected salt water
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots
Average size of crew 2-4

Owner bought the boat in 2003
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? We moved up from a Hunter 31 that we loved and learned to sail on for 4 years....we purchased this 1998 Hunter 376 in April 2003 and have loved it ever since. There were a few things that needed to be done to it (swim ladder, reword instrument on helm (photos in photo forum))...but mostly buffing up. The inside is the best and we were looking at a Catalina 36 prior to this buy and there is no comparision on the interior. It sails well and is very easy to handle. Definitely recommend to others for those you want to move up and cannot afford to purchase a new one (like us)...but one that is new eough to give years of pleasure.
Gear that's been added Yes..Raymarine ST5000 autopilot with rotary drive unit...also a RAM mic with a Intrepid VHF radio. New swim ladder made that does not require it to be in the water to put down the walk-though.
Structural or complex improvements None
The boat's best features Interior and ease to sail
