Gear that's been added AM-FM radio, will put on a bimini this week. Upgraded the head.
Structural or complex improvements
The boat's best features It has a Yanmar GM-10 diesel engine, very sturdy rail and stantions, a pop-top that allows for great breezes and over 6 ft of height.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The windows leak. I have replaced them and recaulked and within a year they began to leak again.
Sailing characterisitcs It sails great.
Motoring characterisitcs The yanmar has never failed to start.
Liveability
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Tidewater Marina was more than helpful in the buying process and continue to help 'do it yourselfers' with free and friendly advice. They will even lend you tools free of charge.
Other comments I had damage to the toe rail and one stantion during last September's hurricane and am having trouble finding uswed parts to replace them.
