If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes, great, good looking and roomy boat for the price. Was reliable so far.
Gear that's been added Will ad Autopilot, Stereo, AC
Structural or complex improvements Bottom Job with Epoxy Barrier Coat. Replaced Cutlass bearing and Propshaft Package.
The boat's best features Sails great in light winds, points well, very roomy for 31'. Feels stable to walk on.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Windows are Leaking, some smells, Wet bilge occasionally, Still looking for the cause.
Sailing characterisitcs Starts heeling early. Very fast, Points very well. On aftwinds the Main is worthless, hits the spreaders.
Motoring characterisitcs Yan 2GM Engine is the minimum requirement. Makes about 6kt max. Have knocking noises around 2600 rpm. Uses 0.75 gal/hour.
Liveability good
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) no experiance
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any was sceptical about the dealer, but closing procedure was done properly. No problems other then to little information, disclosure and advice.
Other comments Good boat for the price.
