Review of the Hunter 37-cutter by Walt Dudley

Location of boat Cheasapeke Bay moving to th Gulf

How the boat is used Blue water, extended passages  
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots  
Average size of crew 2-4  
Liveaboard? No  
Owner bought the boat in 2003  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? YES !!!  
Gear that's been added Instruments, Wheel Pilot, Computer, Compass, Inverter. Adding Battery bank and Wind Generator soon. Will also be adding fridgeration.  
Structural or complex improvements Not Yet...  
The boat's best features Fast and STABLE. Have Soloed on occasion. Backs to Starboard poorley.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Origional instruments, stove igniter.  
Sailing characterisitcs Stable  
Motoring characterisitcs Vibrates even after having the motor aligned. Have 2 bladed prop.  
Liveability Good
