If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Absolutely! We spent weeks researching this boat and talked extensively to Hunter about the boats' pro's and con's prior to our purchase. The cabin space is more than adequate for long trips. The three overhead portlights provide more than adequate light for the cabin. The storage for a boat this size is huge! Overall, I am very happy with the boat and will have her for a very long time. Some of the problems we encountered witht this boat are as follows: the center portlight was warped and leaked; this seems to be a common problem. The 16hp Yanmar engine is not enough horsepower for a boat this size, but who cares about the motor on a sailboat! We are adding a winch to the port side to run all lines aft. The sails can be a lot to handle for a woman my size, but that means I have to be smarter about how to rig the sheets.  
Gear that's been added Refrigeration. Shorepowered battery charger. Self tailing winch on portside cabin top. ST 4000 autohelm. Rolling furler with dacron sail. Harken lazy jacks. Installed a new Yanmar start station.  
Structural or complex improvements Replaced center portlight. Portlight was warped and leaked. Also replaced all plexiglass hatches, companionway hatch and had a plexiglass door cut for better lighting during the sailing season. We used bronze smoked plexiglass, as suggested by Hunter.  
The boat's best features This is a fast boat. The mast is 53 feet above the water line, and the large main is an advantage. The large salon is also a big plus.
