Liveaboard? Yes
Owner bought the boat in 2003
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? YES, ALOT OF BOAT FOR THE MONEY (Under 100K)
Gear that's been added This vessel, 'Flexible Flyer' had been a dive charter boat on Maui for the past 8-10 years. It was very neglected except for a new Yanmar 76HP a few years ago. I have re-done all the electrical and plumbing. Added new electronics. Marine air conditioner. I am now working on the exterior- re-bedding all hardware, replacing running rigging.
Structural or complex improvements Before I purchased the boat, the rudder and support system had been replaced (grounding)
The boat's best features SPEED, Livability
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Nothing yet
Sailing characterisitcs
Motoring characterisitcs Fast, easy to handle
Liveability Great for myself, my wife, and baby daughter in Honolulu.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
