THIS WAS MY FIRST SAILBOAT AND I TAUGHT MYSELF TO SAIL IT - TOOK ME ABOUT THREE LONG WEEKENDS TO UNDERSTAND IT ALL OR MOST OF IT AND I AM STILL LEARNING THE ROPES TO THIS DAY.NOW BACKING UP--YES THIS IS A NICE BOAT TO OWN AND EAZY TO HANDLE.
Gear that's been added RADIO/CD PLAYER AND A MUST A "TILLER TAMER"
Structural or complex improvements NO
The boat's best features THE COST OF OWNERSHIP A GOOD VALUE.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. NEEDS MORE HEAD ROOM---OUCH.
Sailing characterisitcs NICE TO SAIL---SAILS NICE AT CLOSE HULL AT 15 TO 20 DEGREES------ALSO NICE WITH THE SWING KEEL ON A SHALLOW LAKE.
Motoring characterisitcs HANDLES AND MOVES OUT GOOD WITH A 9.9HP MOTOR.
Liveability MY ONLY NEGATIVE IS IT NEEDS MORE HEAD ROOM OR I JUST NEED TO BUY A 30FT. BOAT. ( I AM 6'2")
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) VARY GOOD
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
Other comments A VARY GOOD BOAT THAT YOU CAN BUY FOR ABOUT $2000.00 TO $7000.00 WITH A TRAILER---A GREAT VALUE.
