How the boat is used Weekends and longer

Liveaboard? No
Owner bought the boat in 2002
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? YES
Gear that's been added Auto pilot, cushions
Structural or complex improvements no
The boat's best features Roomy cockpit, easy single handed operation ( In-mast main),good engine access, very nice accomodations , she tracks beautifully, point well and handles a seaway very well
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Have had several leaks in the plumbing(hot water heater, deck shower)Flimsey faucet in head(has broken several times)Poor gelcoating(extensive surface cracks)Bow cleats too far astern causing problems in a tight mooring field unless a briddle is used.Dinette table is a pain takes up too much room.
Sailing characterisitcs Points well, comes alive around 7knots,tracks beautifully, just the right weather helm.
Motoring characterisitcs Has adequate power, great on fuel consumption a little noisey but tolerable, some vibration Single lever control sticks.
Liveability Good.As I said earlier dinette table gets in the way too often.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) OK
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Very good.
Other comments Prbably the best value on the water.Except for cosmetic details which need work and chincy plumbing a great boat.
