How the boat is used Weekends and longer

Owner bought the boat in 1997
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes I would buy it again. My wife fell in love with it at the Atlanta boat show and it was a good upgrade from our Hunter 27.
Gear that's been added We did some upgrades at the time of purchase including a stove with oven, shades, cockpit cushions, stereo, bimini, house battery bank, a custom mattress for the aft state room, and GPS. Stuff my wife would appreciate.
Structural or complex improvements Not really. Just the house battery bank.
The boat's best features The best feature is the ample room in the cabin and cockpit for a 31 foot boat. It is also packed with features that I could not find in other boats in this price range.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. I don't like the lazy jacks. With a full batten main, it tends to get hung up while raising the main sail. Also, the jib is small for the wind conditions in my area.
Sailing characterisitcs I find the boat very stable and easy to sail. Sail controls are all located in the cockpit so adjustments can be made without going on deck. I find the boat a little slow in light air, mainly due to the small jib. As the breeze picks up, however, the boat can be a lot of fun. The boat also sails great in heavy air with a reefed main.
Motoring characterisitcs The engine has ample power to push the boat along. There is quite a bit of noise and vibration with the engine.
Liveability The boat is quite comfortable for a weeks vacation. Storage is the limiting factor.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) I have not dealt with Hunter directly.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any I bought my boat from Weathermark in Oakwood Georgia. I would describe the experience as mostly harmless.
Other comments For the money, you get a lot of boat with the 310. After six years, I'm still happy with the boat. I have looked at larger boats, but so far I have not seen one that offered more.
