If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes, A good single hander with room 4 four for day sailing excursions. Good but limited racing potential .... there are very few of these around.

The boat's best features A simple pleasure. Clear the dock in 5-10 minutes single handed, You can bring some friends along for a day and they will be comfortable and safe even if they're not sailors. The boat has good stability and resonable hull speed. I don't know if it will plane but I'm removing 20 years of accumulated bottom paint in the off season and we'll see in the spring.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Had yard work done to reattach and reinforce the deck hull join below the halyards on port and starbord. This is a high load point on the rig and a point of structural failure. SubsequentHunter models have changed this design shortcoming.Hunter reps were helpful and I had a local Cat boat builder ( Menger Cat - Amityville NY ) do the work.

The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Hunter Reps conatcted me within 24 hours of posting a question on this site **THANKS**Hunter Reps were great when I had a problem with the deck/hull join and needed insights and repair guidance before electing to do it myself or subject myself to a yards strategy. Hunter was helpful, I elected to use a local boat builder for the repair who was able to build the work into his winter schedule.
