If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes!

Structural or complex improvements No
The boat's best features The 340 sails well (except down wind) is easy to handle and has a great layout.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. I have had a problem with water in the aft locker and I can't find out how it's getting in. I have had a couple of fiberglass voids where the gelcoat has popped. Othere that those couple of things It has been great.
Sailing characterisitcs I find if I reef around 15 knots of wind the boat sails well. If I don't reef I have a lot of weather helm.
Motoring characterisitcs I found the 2 blade prop didn't give me the response that the 3 blade gives me and the boat doesn't slow down as much after hitting an oncoming wave. It also doesn't slow me down too much while sailing.
Liveability Very comfortable for my family (2 boys early 20's and my wife) for weekends and a 2 week summer holiday.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Hunter has been great especially Greg Emerson. He is very helpful.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any I bought the boat new from Angus Yachts of Toronto, they were very good.
