Structural or complex improvements Paint and general repairs. The boat is currently being fitted out for world cruising. It will be equipt with most items, though no refrigeration.
The boat's best features Definitely it's appearance. It has a classic design especially for a small boat. It is relatively quick and responsive in building winds.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Nothing that hasn't been simple to repair.
Sailing characterisitcs The most enjoyable experiences have been early afternoon cocktail cruises with a couple of friends. I prefer there to be atleast 15 knots true and steady wind but anything less and we're fishing. This particular boat sails well on any point of sail. Particular owners of this boat design have criticized it's pointing abilities but I have found it to be a racey boat if you can put down your beer for a minute. Usually I prefer to go out when the wind builds from the West or Southwest where I sail. The West end of Lake Erie provides a nice sailing ground when the wind is out of these directions. Warm steady winds and calm seas. Even if she's up to 20 I won't reef a thing. This boat starts narrow then amidship she flares out a bit giving her a nice beam. She will only go over so far yet retains her boat speed.
Motoring characterisitcs The Hunter 25 equipt with a Johnson outboard is the Corvette of sailboats.
Liveability Very intimate. Heavy enough to be stable and light enough to feel the water while you sleep.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Couldn't say.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Nope.
Other comments Only if I were redundant.
