Review of the Hunter 380 by Beverly

Owner bought the boat in 2002  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? I like this boat and since I just took delivery of it in July, I am still learning about the features of this boat.  
Gear that's been added It came fully equipped to cruise. I just need to add wind and water for hours of fun.  
Structural or complex improvements No  
The boat's best features Size and layout of the boat. It is user friendly and comfortable.  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. So far the only thing not working is the sensor in the fresh water tank. It always reads full even when it is empty.  
Sailing characterisitcs So far there has been little wind this summer on the Chesapeake bay.....I hope to see more in the fall as the season changes.  
Motoring characterisitcs The motor works well and with a feathering MAX prop, this boat moves well in the water. Especially when there is NO WIND!  
Liveability I plan on going to the Bahamas in the near future to live onthis boat for the winter. It has all of the creature comforts I enjoy. There is ample storage for all of the necessary items needed and the galley is well equiped.  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)  
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any I bought the boat from a dealer but they misrepresented the equipment list on the boat. It was surveyed and even the surveyor showed equipment on his list that was missing when the boat was delivered. There is a dispute ongoing right now as to why the radar/ chartplotter was listed and surveyed as a color one and a black & white one was onthe boat upon delivery. This is not a good way to do business from any dealer!  
Other comments I love the boat.
