Structural or complex improvements Yes. Installed auxillary motor mount.
The boat's best features In mast furling Good use of cabin space Responsiveness
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Cockpit floor by companionway has cracking sound.
Sailing characterisitcs Boat handles extremely well in 10-15 knots. Very maneuverable in most conditions including close hauled.
Motoring characterisitcs Does not motor very well, can become tiring. Cabin noise (vibration) could be better.
Liveability Comfortable for short overnights.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Excellent
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Good experience, warranty service slow.
Other comments Arch design and stern rail make additions difficult (i.e. motor mount, bimini). Additions need to be customized. Very little sternrail space.
