How the boat is used Multi-week coastal cruising

Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard? No
Owner bought the boat in 2001
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? definately
Gear that's been added cold plate refrigeration, raritan ice maker, force 10 range w/oven, pur 160 watermaker, sprint 600 anchor windlass, autopilot, radar, air marine 403 wind generator, kyocera 60 watt solar, stern radar arch/dinghy davit, bbq, bimini top, profurl roller furling, 45lb cqr anchor, speed/depth/wind instruments, gps, 12cd changer, electric macerator, 35 gallon holding tank, symmetrical spinnaker, 4 6 volt batteries, 20 amp charger, lewmar opening ports, ssb/weatherfax, propane detector/solenoid, 9" tv/dvd, triple axle gooseneck trailer.
Structural or complex improvements the previous owner changed the opening hatches to larger lewmar ocean hatches. i recently refinished all interior teak wood, lots of sanding and 3 coats of daly's profin. I also built a stern arch to mount solar, wind, radar and dinghy. I used 1.5" and 1" stainless tubing from taco metals. the mounting bases, backing plates, and radar mount are 1/4" x 6" 304 stainless plate, solar mounts are 1/8" x .75" 304 stainless angle. I removed the original cng stove and replaced it with a force 10 european sub compact, 3 burner, oven/broiler. this is the only model that would fit, and it was tight. i removed the drawers and cabinets next to the galley sink and installed a raritan icerette, ice maker. also a very tight fit, i had to move the sink 1/4" in order for it to fit between the icebox insulation and the sink. i modified the existing battery enclosure to accomidate 4, 6 volt golf cart batteries.
The boat's best features affordability, roominess, speed under sail.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. i have yet to experience any such problems.
Sailing characterisitcs as with my previous hunter 26.5, the boat is very fast under sail. hull speed is easily reached on all points of sail, except when pointing very high. it is necessary to reef the main above 22 knots windspeed and reduce foresail to a working jib around 20 knots. She sails fastest in 23 to 25 knots with single reefed main and 110% genoa. This boat moves well in light air as well
Motoring characterisitcs it is a little underpowered when motoring into strong winds. the yanmar 30 3gm doesn't push her at hull speed, even in light winds.
Liveability the aft cabin is billed as the "owners cabin". we however, prefer the v berth because the ventilation is so much better. we also like the forward cabin for its headroom. the aft berth is very large, but there is very little room above the center of the berth, because of the cockpit sole. otherwise, for a 35 footer it is very roomy inside. we do intend to live aboard eventually.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) greg at tech support has been very helpful, only on a few occasions did i have to take physical measurements, because hunter had 2 potential measurements for the drive shaft.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any n/a
