Structural or complex improvements No
The boat's best features The boat is very stable and forgiving of inexperienced sailors. She sails very close to the wind.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. The rudder has been a constant problem popping up. Also the motor mount is too light. an a bit awkward.
Sailing characterisitcs Sails well on almost any point of sailing and handles well in seas up to 5'. She is also a very dry little boat.
Motoring characterisitcs I use a 4 HP long shaft Suzuki with great response.
Liveability I have no experience
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Excellent
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any I bought from a dealer and I had a good experinece.
Other comments I intend to stay with the Hunter for the forseable future and when I upgrade I hope to do so in a Hunter.
