Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. I'm not crazy about the engine mount, no problems yet but looks a little weak to me
Sailing characterisitcs Just bought the boat a couple of weeks ago. My wife and I took her out for our first sail yesterday (7/11/98). THIS IS A GREAT BOAT!!!!!I've been sailing since I'm 5 years old (34 now) but this is my wifes first try at sailing and now she's hooked. Took the boat out yeterday in winds 20 - 25 (a little heavy for my first sail with the boat) Started with just the main just to get the feel of the helm etc. (there is some weather helm on this boat but not bad and some weather helm is good) Even without the jib she outsailed a Catalina 25' with a main and a 110 jib. This is a fast boat!! I'm really looking foward to some great times on this boat.
Motoring characterisitcs handles ok with Nissan 5hp I think a British Seagul might be better
Liveability
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any)
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Bought the boat used from Coney's Marine in Huntington NY. They were great!!!!!!!!!!!!!
