If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Absolutely, Fast Boat, does well in races, easy to handle bymyself.
Gear that's been added Adjustable back stay, roler furling jib and jenny stern rails, speed and depth guages.
Structural or complex improvements no
The boat's best features sails well to weather, great in shallow lakes.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. I think the life line stantions are too small
Sailing characterisitcs rolls a little on abeam reach
Motoring characterisitcs
Liveability It is not liveable too small -- great for day sailing and weekending!
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Good. I had to replace the mast. It was my fault, trees got in the way of loading up for fall storage. It took 6 months to get a new mast? It had to come from France!!
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any The dealer has since gone out of business.
