The boat's best features Sails well to weather. Roomy below. Good cockpit-(this has been enclosed by me). Great Radio control from cockpit. Room for Tender 8ft. aft of cockpit with engine mounted. Lift easy to instal.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Refrigeration had problems, now works somewhat. Lewmar hatch at bow has deteriorated. Tach. Volvo works inconsitently and needs replacement. Volvo engine too noisy (78HP).
Sailing characterisitcs Great to windward in light air. Poor runner. Somewhat tender . I have shoal keel.
Motoring characterisitcs I have a maxi prop. Runs well up to 8knots full power. Noisy Volvo engine.
Liveability Very good. Aft bed somewhat dificult to make .
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Somewhat satisfactory. I had problems with dealer who sold me a demo as a new boat. I had to hire an attorney. It took ayear to iron things out. Hunter took a year to fix refrigeration.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Watch out.
Other comments Great boat for the money. Go to factory to buy new.
