Owner bought the boat in 1993  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? with out a doubt the best all around boat Ive owned. Same feel and appeal as my vette had. No reason to appologize or feel inferior here..foot for foot sail for sail you can run with the BIG DOGS!!!!!  
Gear that's been added SIGNET WIND,DEPTH,KNOT,2ND SET PRIMARY SELF TAILING WINCHES,SAILS 110,150,170,2CHUTES,REFERIDGERATION ,LORAN,GPS.RDFmartec prop  
Structural or complex improvements REBUILT THE COMPLETE HEAD COMPARTMENT FROM BULKHEAD TO CABINETES AND COUNTERTOPS,ADDED GFI TO ELECTRICAL,REPLACED THE CABIN SOLE AND CHANGED THE CENTER ACCESS HATSHES TO FULL LENGTH TEAK GRATES.REPLACED BOTH CABIN HATCHES,CHANGED THE HEAD SINK THRU HULL TO A SEACOCK TO STOP WATER FROM BACKING INTO THE SINK WHILE HEELING ON PORT TACK,ADDED 2ND BATTERY BANK USING 2 DEEP CYCLE BATTERIES.CHANGED 2 COMPANIONWAY BOARDS TO LEXAN TO LET LIGHT IN. I designed a arched helm seat and faxed it to hunter who built it for me out of teak. it is now a real seat bigger and deeper than orginal.  
The boat's best features FAST,STABLE GOOD LOOKING,LIVABLE  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. SOME COMPONENTS WERE INFERIOR IN DESIGN LIKE VENTING THE BILGE,AND THE WAY THE MAINSHEET FASTENED TO THE COCKPIT WITH NO ACCESS WITH OUT TAKING OUT THE COMPLETE HEAD COMPARTMENT INCL. THE BULKHEAD. CABIN FIXED WINDOWS LEAKED FROM DAY ONE .  
Sailing characterisitcs been out there in 45 knot 44 degree heel with the stansions half buried and still felt safe  
Motoring characterisitcs fast but lost some bite with the martec prop  
Liveability great room  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) super people ready to help  
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any jefferson beach was great place to buy
