Review of the Hunter 27 by jamey adams

Year built 1987  
Location of boat panama city fl.  
The boat is sailed on Bays, sounds, or protected salt water  
How the boat is used Day sailing  
Normal wind strength 10-15 knots  
Average size of crew 2-4  
Liveaboard? Yes  
Owner bought the boat in 2006  
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? absolutley, only having trouble finding parts have a broken tiller arm bracket and can't find many dealers. first boat and learning  
Gear that's been added only basic ,ie batteries and generator plus air conditioner ,cd, minor details just need info on tiller arm bracket just snapped in storm  
Structural or complex improvements no  
The boat's best features the use of space and it's changed our lives  
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. the tiller arm bracket just snapped! the only other problem that i've expierenced is from dock power outlet.  
Sailing characterisitcs only slight trouble with mainsail raising,and no rolling furling  
Motoring characterisitcs none  
Liveability 6 sleeper ,small galley,but definanetly liveable  
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) no,previous owner ,first time  
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any no problems  
Other comments only why this bracket broke and if there's any kind of problem or consisstant problem with this particulr part i should be worried about. i'm a new owner and just need new information
