The boat's best features Boat handles well in 10-15 knots, must reef early to reduce weather in the helm. Easily handled by 1 or 2 people.
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Anti-skid came damaged prior to delivery - Hunter fixed it immediately. Difficulty with the tank gauge, gel-coat bubbles and a leaking main hatch. All repaired/replaced by dealer under warranty.
Sailing characterisitcs Sails great! Running however should be avoided if possible due to the B&R rigging. Do not hesitate to reef early - actually sails better.
Motoring characterisitcs Cruises 6 knots at 2800 rpm. The 3-blade prop makes backing much easier.
Liveability Very comfortable for 2,doable for 4 and really better like each other if there are any more!
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Hunter has been great - their tech repaired our anti-skid and it looks great. The dealer took care of that prior to the walkthru.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Tidewater in Annapolis was good. They are quite responsive to both questions and concerns.
